you can lead a cat to basket...

This is Sam.Sam

This is Sam's brand new basket.
(Note the cushy-comfy blanket,
thoughtfully scented with catnip, even!)
Sam's new catnip-scented basket.

And this is Sam investigating his lovely new digs.
Mmmm. Nip!
Sam investigates...

But this old cardboard boxtop is where Sam still prefers to nap.
(Note the abandonned nip-scented basket, sitting empty on the left.)I'd rather have my cardboard box, thanks.

What is it with cats and cardboard boxes, anyway?!

Sam will be napping aboard the and at , hosted this week by Hot(M)BC. You'll also find him wide awake and helping out at his other gig.

Hello Sam, you are a very handsome cat. That sure is a nice new basket. It looks very sturdy. Mine apple basket is getting worn, but I still like it.

Oh Sam, you clearly know yourself. Boxes are always good to sleep in, indeed!

Aww so cute! I don't know what it is about cats and cardboard boxes, but Puddy has also snubbed new baskets in favour of the older boxes! Strange!
