must be a guy-cat thing

"Don't even think about touching my remote!"Sam lays claim to the remote. The Mighty Sam waits patiently for someone to cue up his favourite video. Could be a long wait. I have the awful, sinking feeling it might have been accidentally sold along with the old VCR. [I am going to be in so much trouble when he finds out!]

Sam will be channel surfing at the , at Sunday's (hosted by Scribblings) and with the Weekend Cat Blogging Crew over at House of the (mostly) Black Cats.

Sam comes running when he hears the VCR power up, then leaves in a huff if it's not his movie on screen. The Catsitter video definitely intrigues him and always holds his attention for at least 15 minutes at a stretch. He likes to sit thisclose to the screen and often tries to "catch" the critters --especially the white mice. Unfortunately, I still haven't found the tape, and I've looked everywhere. The sleeve was on the shelf but not the cassette. Maybe Santa will bring him a replacement (DVD, of course). ;-)

Yes, a few more thousand words in the can. Slowly but surely it's becoming a story (make that the beginning of a story).

Good party! The tapenade was a hit with the olive lovers and even won over a convert. Very easy recipe, thanks! I'll post a picture when I update.

well hopefully, mr. cutieface will be rewarded with something in his stocking if it is not found beforehand...

i know how that feels losing/misplacing a well loved object and having NO CLUE where in the world it could be.

i think i may have to investigate one of these dvd's for you-know-who. however he may leap at the tv! i can see a disaster happening.

glad to hear all is/went well with the writing and the party.
