rain, rain, go away ...
It's been a gray and rainy week here in Toronto and Sam is dreaming of sunshine and warmer, dryer climes. Here he is, all settled and comfy in his travellin' box. Now, how many stamps to mail a sixteen pound furball to Phoenix?
Rain, rain go away;
come again another day.
On second thought,
rain, please don't go.
You're better, oh, by far than snow!
Sam will be chasing sunbeams at the Friday Ark, at Sunday's Carnival of the Cats, hosted this week by Mind of Mog, and at CatSynth with the Weekend Cat Blogging crew.

LOL! Yes, either that or a much larger box (with feeding and grooming staff on board).

hehe, cute picture. your own jack, i mean sam, in a box. looks like it's a purrfect fit, too! i'm sure he loves snuggling inside, the smaller the box the better.
i see the word count also went up from last week. :-)
He does squeeze himself into some mighty small boxes ... well, he tries anyway.
Word count up...yes, barely. (But I have high hopes for the coming week.)
i cannot imagine writing a novel in one month but kudos to you if you manage it (or not -- trying it is half the battle, after all).
i am sending you on a little "hunt". check my blog for tropical fruit and go to the link. then follow it to the bottom. it has something to do with your sam and a baby. i laughed as it reminded me of your WCB entry!
LOL! Took me a while, burekaboy, but I found the picture. Jake-in-a-box! Yes, that is one very cute 'Gerber' baby.
As for finishing the novel this month... hey, anything's possible. Maybe if I give up sleeping... ;-)
Fact is, I'm just not a fast writer (and I have two jobs that can't - or won't - be ignored). My average, back in the days, was 3-6 months for a rough first draft. NaNoWriMo has been a real motivator, though. I'm happy to be writing again, and well into a story that's taken on a life of its own. Fun!
Thanks for the encouraging words - it helps!
i knew you'd find it, after some work! lol.
it instantly reminded me of your cat's picture when i saw that cute baby in the box!
i look forward to an excerpt one of these days. fast or not, writing is something which takes time and thought. well, ummm, for the most part, that is.
